Who is your Elder?

Updated: Feb 25, 2021

They are our family members, friends, clients and patients. We care for and about them as revered members of our society, wise sages and keepers of our traditions. We respect the wisdom and gifts they offer us and want to see them age wisely and well. Sometimes they need our help.

Now, more than ever, empowering Elders to remain in their home of choice– to age in place - is more than just a nice idea. It’s an urgent imperative.

A home of choice can include several different settings for Elders. It might be the house they’ve lived in for many years or a retirement community where they enjoy lively programming and connecting with others. Some Elders choose to live in an assisted living facility where supportive services make life easy and comfortable.

One thing is clear. Home is not a nursing home, hospital or emergency room.

Wherever they live, aging in place is a choice that requires a plan. If you know, care for or about, or are yourself an Elder, please join me o

n my mission to help Elders remain in their homes happy, healthy and safe.

"A clear vision, backed by definite plans gives you a tremendous feeling of confidence and personal power."- Brian Tracy
